The 5th General Assembly of the MAST3RBoost Project
From November 20th to 21st, the MAST3RBoost consortium gathered in Florence, Italy, for the 5th General Assembly. Hosted by our valued partner SPIKE, this two-day event served as a vital checkpoint to review the progress achieved across all work packages and strategically plan the next steps towards our ambitious goals of revolutionizing ultra-porous materials.
During the assembly, partners presented updates on their respective work packages, highlighting key advancements in materials development, testing, and application potential. Constructive discussions paved the way for identifying challenges and aligning on innovative solutions to ensure the project remains on track.
In addition to the work package reviews, two important workshops were held, focusing on different aspects of the project’s outreach and impact:
Communication & Dissemination Workshop
This session aimed to clarify the differences between communication and dissemination. While communication focuses on delivering messages to the broader public, building awareness and understanding of the project, dissemination is more targeted. It’s about sharing specific results, knowledge, and innovations with relevant stakeholders, such as researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals. The workshop emphasized the importance of refining our outreach strategies to ensure MAST3RBoost’s breakthroughs are communicated effectively and reach the right audiences across scientific, industrial, and societal spheres.Exploitation Workshop
The exploitation workshop focused on strategies for maximizing the impact of the project’s results. This included discussions on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), commercialization strategies, and pathways to bring MAST3RBoost’s innovations to market. Partners collaborated to understand how we can exploit the value of our research, secure intellectual property, and explore commercial opportunities that will deliver real-world benefits to stakeholders. The goal is to ensure the sustainability of the project’s outcomes, by identifying ways to apply the innovations in industry and society beyond the project’s lifespan.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to SPIKE for their hospitality and exceptional organization of the event. Their efforts made the assembly both productive and enjoyable, setting the stage for meaningful discussions and collaborations.
As we look ahead, the MAST3RBoost consortium is more committed than ever to pushing the boundaries of innovation in ultra-porous materials. Stay tuned for further updates as we continue on this exciting journey, creating cutting-edge solutions that will shape the future of sustainable technologies.
