Fourth General Assembly of the MAST3RBoost Project in Braunau, Austria

On May 16th and 17th, 2024, the MAST3RBoost project consortium gathered in Braunau, Austria, to review the progress made so far and discuss the next steps. The event was organized by Light Metals Technologies Ranshofen (LKR), in collaboration with the project coordinator Envirohemp.
The consortium, consisting of Spike Renewables S.r.l., Nanolayers Research Computing, CIDETEC, EDAG Group, University of Nottingham, University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), TWI, Contactica, and Carbon Science and Technology Institute (CSIC-INCAR), convened to assess the project’s achievements and plan future activities.
On the first day, the consortium review on Work Packages (WPs) 1 to 6, with each WP leader presenting their package’s status, and a detailed specification of what has been done so far, and also what has to be done in the coming months. In addition, the meeting was complemented by an internal workshop about machine learning, performed by Nanolayers Research Computing.
While the second day was dedicated to the review of the WPs 7 and 8, which comprises all the information of communication and dissemination material, and what to do the next months. The consortium also had the opportunity to visit the LKR laboratories, where they observed the development of materials that will form the structure of the hydrogen tank.
The assembly was a success, providing a valuable platform for reflection and strategic planning, ensuring the project continues to progress effectively and in alignment with its innovative goals in research and technology development.
